Accidentally aged my drakish monk to death on lvl 3 of pyramid... had an amulet of life saving :( created a new one, crap stats... went to smc to kill it, and the first thing i find after accidentaly killing a kobold is a trident of penetration... *shakes head* |

My current char is a drakish wizard which I am training for archmage which seems to be so popular these times =) He started by finding a Flail of penetration in the SMC. And now, after some smithing and scroll enhancement it is (+4, 2d4+13) [+2, +0]. It was this weapon that gave me motivation enough to keep him alive =) And as far as RNG.. No artifact in the Casino for the first time ever though I was wareing ankh and RoL. |

This game (the same) I have decided to use a wish on a ring of weakness (never found one naturally) to try the strength training.. Especially since the Greater Deamon took out the dwarven trainer.. And in the rift I find a "plain ring" Greate I think.. probably a RoDS (even though they usually are labeled ordinary I thought plain was close enough) Anyway.. The plain ring was a Ring of Weakness.. No nead to waste a wish =D EDIT: And DAMN I am lucky.. That pickaxe I found was hammerhead.. So not only will I get lots of ore to smith my Flail of penetration to its limit. (already trained my smithing to 100) I Also can dig up Stone Giant after Stone giant to slay them with the trident of hunting from bugville.. Sometimes the RNG is downright nasty, but other times... How about my archmage finding 4 spellbooks of wish besides the one in the library ? One in a bookshop, three in the BDC. How's that for rare ? I've only ever found one randomly generated artifact, Ironfist. I've been playing since g16p2. I've also never gotten much past the Water Temple, let alone won the game. Never found a greater vault. I hate all of you. And the RNG most of all. >:o |

Okay the RNG has done me in again... well i am sure it will do me in soon... just found SLBs in level b4 dwarven city... and aol in waldenbrook's shop... i am screwed!!! *tremble* |

I'm also playing a drakish monk, and I also might get aged to death, lol. Because my second greater vault ever (in my non-cheated games) is also undead like the first. I'm just going to skip that until... maybe forever... The RNG is being nice to me otherwise though. Precrowned with BoW, found an Aols before Khelevastar, found a ring of weakness, got 2 extra scrolls of chaos resistance and a ring of ice from gremlins, finally got 2 pairs of SLBs and a RoDS in the Casino, crowned with Iron Crown of Havlor, and I found a ring of elemental mastery, which combined with the BoW, cancelled out all damage drakelings get in the ToEF. And I'm about to get the RoTMC too. |
