Should I kill the white or black unicorn??? I've got about 4 SoCR, and 2 PoCC, i can get another 5 SoCR from the wierd tome... I also have many magical writing sets so i dont think SoCRs are going to be a problem, is it true a wizard suffers no penalty from making them? Also could anyone confirm that wish costs 3000 pp??? so it would cost 4500 to cast from the book? I figure to get 4500 pps i would have to drain 1500 wands/potions of booze, which means i only need 750 wands. Better to get wands or more potions of booze? When not attempting an ultra ending, I usually kill the black unicorn so that I can be sure of leaving the Chain uncorrupted and therefore having a bright future. However, it sounds like Cepheid's trying to become an Archmage, which means he can wish up all the SoCR he wants - so yes, kill the white unicorn, but wear a blessed amulet of balance to reduce the alignment hit. I don't think you can calm Khelavaster down, but he'll still summon the TotRR when hostile. (He might then proceed to wield it against you, forcing you to kill him.) |

I'd rather use an amulet of balance, because that lessens (is there a word like that?) the effect on alignment., An amulet of order just gives you some white stones. oh... right.. thanks, i never knew that... well i killed him anyway for L+ to L and 6 poga and the +6 dv corruption so not too bad. Then i killed the greater black unicorn too... Ermmm problem.. .ghost librarian has disappeared (presumably killed) can i wish for him? |
