I already sent him about $10, not enough for the enjoyment ive gotten out of all my years of Adom, but its a start :)

Haven't actually sent him a postcard though, was planning on sending him one from my first assignment in Washington DC, but that kinda fell through

Hm... I just hope the übermonster-bug is fixed in new release. Or at least the monster leveling drastically reduced. Otherwise I'll stay with 1.0.0.

But a new version does indeed sound enticing...

I agree. Certin races should be able to see in the dark. Orcs and Dark Elves come to mind.

Maybe not be able to see as good as in lighted places, but see the walls, monsters and items. But not not able see exactly what items or monsters they are, just a sword, spear, shield... or a small, large, huge, enormous... monster.

i say a completly new dungeon would be nice. that way there could be some more quests. maybe another village somewhere. an elf city in the forest or something. id like to see events. like a war or something that your character could participate in. a final huge battle involving NPC's and hordes or orcs or something.

I think it's a bad idea.

The fire bolt hits the kobold! The kobold is killed! The fire bolt hits the kobold! The kobold is killed! The fire bolt hits the kobold! The kobold is killed! Something on the ground melts! You smell a savory aroma. Liquid appears on the dungeon floor!

It would be nice if after this update Biskup focuses on the first complete version of JADE. Unless the battle bunny level wasn't fixed yet (no pun intended).
