True, but then it's usualy like that when a new hall opens, I myself have submited a lot more deaths that I would normaly bother with just to help fill it up...

People also tend to send more deaths early on in a version's life. If you have played V1 for a mounth or so it's neat to send in a few of the more interesting death's, but if you have been playing the same version for a year you tend to only bother with the winners or exceptionaly interesting deaths...

That seems to be the general trend anyway, unless V 1.0.1 is released soon (and I suspect it is) and take over, I expect there will be fewer and fewer characters coming in overall and a larger and larger % of those I do get will be Winners/Avatars/Chaos gods.

Why do you expect the 1.0.1 version to be release so soon? and when in that case can we expect it?

Because it will most likely not have as many new features as V1 had, and thus shouldn't take as long to be finished...

Oh and then there is this:

BTW, I already have tuned the loot down for 1.0.1. And I have tuned
up the difficulty level for the late game :-] 1.0.1 is getting ahead
pretty well. Hopefully I can release it in 4-6 weeks.

Acording to this it's long over due, but then the general rules seems to be that whenever Thomas says it will be released it takes another 3 mounths, so late descember seems a good guess...

I am just guessing though, Thomas have repeatedly said that he's given up on providing estimated release dates because he never manage to keep them :)
