My current PC, a Hurthling Barbarian, is now level 12. On the levelup, I noticed that he had 0 in Bridge building, which he learned from the live Yrrigs a few levels ago. I didn't know this is possible. I thought that 0 would mean you didn't have the skill? Has this happened to anybody else?

I had 0 in literacy once. I accidently ate a cursed dark sage sage corpse (the skill wasn't too high before that neither:). I think you can raise the skill when you get a level and can't use the skill as long it is 0.

Yeah, but I GAINED the skill at 0. Getting it reduced to zero is understandable, but LEARNING it at zero?
