Rattling fodder? It corrupts by just carrying it, so maybe if you need to get extremely corrupted attempting an ultra? Sell it? Sac if? Just don't lug it around just for fun, as it indeed corrupts you. I think if you read it, you learn some random spell, dunno for sure, I never even pick it up :O |

yeah it sucks. thats all you need to know from it... i SUPOSE theres always a random chance you could learn the Wish spell easily from it but its not worth it |

Does it corrupt more when read? Mabye its just that time passes quickly when you read it for spells. I did try a few read from it, and I noticed that it gives random spells each time, but that you still needed normal time to read the particular spell. So you could learn light, darkness, burning hands without getting a corruption. But if you got death ray or wish you would get more corruptions. So possible use, if desperate for spells, try a few reads. And for a starting character, a few of the corruptions are actually very good. Scaly skin, corrupted tissue, ape-like (for fighters) are all good for starting out. There should be enough corrupion-removing items out there, at least for a normal ending. I'd can't imagine being so desparate for spells though. |

O.k. - thanx to bad that i grap it up.. but i did not carry it for to long.. some 30 moves and then i droped it at a save place (in order that i might need it later - who knows..) *got some blessed scrlls of c.resis with me - so that should not be a prob* -H- """""""""""""""" " SPELL IT " """""""""""""""" |

It is totally useless for spell reading. Some uses that come to my mind: 1.Ratling fodder 2. Sacrificing fodder 3. Sell it. Never ever try to read it. The rust monster touches your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster. Nothing happens. You laugh at the monster's pitiful attempt. |
