I'm sure a new mod is not nessasary. Jan checks in from time to time, and there have been no problems (that i know of) since the origional incident that got Iridia mod-hood. But, I wouldn't really know. It's not like I spend time on this forum anymore. ivan.sourceforge.net |

Nchurmdaz's assumption is not "on the moon", bunny. I think whoever playing a text-only, 7-years-old game, going to a black-and-white forum must have been in some kind of high standard. The trolls who come by wwould definitely go away after sometime. Only us, who care and love, will stay. Having an enforcer would simply keep those trolls staying longer. it's a colorful forum, - I have little sense of color, yes. To me black and brown are the same. Yellow and white are the same, too. The game has no age restriction - ADOM itself is 7 years old or something like that. For those fashionable youth, it is not acceptable ;) and it has ASCII graphics too - To untrained eyes, they are simply characters dumped together. Actually, it _does_ take quite some intellectual effort to get into the game. Not only must one learn to 'read' a new kind of picture (e.g. the ADOM ascii enviroment), one must also have patience, temper control and some galleons of imagination to make it work. These are not traits you find in just anybody, you know.. [Edit: I can't seem to make people understand the game either - although I've made at least two people download the game from the website...] http://tankefel.blogspot.com/ So far you have only killed one wild cat. Yeah if you beat the game you should be very proud because like 1/1000 of the downloaders actually beat the game. But this is a little off topic. Since there are 0 votes for 'need another mod' and 7 votes for 'don't need mod', we don't need a mod and this discussion is done. |
