I've started an archer, but I'm a bit stuck. I've done all the starting quests in Terino, killed most of the NPCs in Hole-in-the-wall, gotten past the small cave, = of High Kings, done all the dwarf quests, gotten the elemental gauntlets, but still no teleport control, fire immunity, crowning, or water-breathing. I'm currently at the Temple, Berzerkering greater bugs with one arrow and killer bugs with 3 or 4. I'm pretty sure the 90 days are up, too. Any directions? |

don't care for the bad 90d limit unless you are going to attempt an UE. i'm pretty sure you are able to do the DFG (or at least try) and probably get a wish or gain tc (or doom, which shouldn't be a lot of trouble). if you are still feeling weak, pacify the bigroom, gather herbs and scum for PoEx in the ID - this will probably give your stats a good boost (which will make you less likely to die in DFG, or anywhere). i suppose you are at least level 18:) - if not, scum for items in I1-9 until you are (if you're patient enough, you can level up without gaining any corruption until level 20 or so, but as you can deal with kbugs, you are probably even more experienced). if you have some means of indefinite light production, you should also go kick some gremlin butt, probably pickpocket some items you lust for;)(again, patience is the factor). gaining about 1-2 wskill levels (dependent of how advanced you already are) in a weapon categhory is a good reason to visit these big, wet, magenta "I"s as well. I'm at lvl.20, 12 in spears and 9 or so in bows. Only one corruption so far, mana battery, but was quikly solved with a ! of cure corruption. I guess I'll go into the DarkForge and try and snag a wish and some other nice things. (Found a = 'o djinni earlier, now have 3 7L-boots) |

hmm, better go smash the gremlins first (close combat with golems is dangerous, so there's almost no use of the spears wskill - you should work on your bows wskill, and gremlins grant about 5k of marks, then become powerful enough to kick ~60 hp out of you with a single critical hit).
