Is that onl my imagination, or Ancient Mummy Wrapping abuses To? I ask because I noticed a To decrease by 2 while wearing it for a certain period of time. In positive effects list this "feature" is not mentioned. However, this wrapping would be too good without this abusal, for simultaneous res to sleep, stun, death, poison, see invis, +5 PV at a cost of 8 Ap for a *guaranteed* artifact is worrying. Additionaly - remember the Rhetep's story -his former "skin", according to Ministrel's song, was not only ugly, it caused him a lot of trouble (can't remember exact word). As long as I noticed while using this art. was To abusal. Am I right? Ubi patria ibi bene! |

No, you're not. Most of my chars wore AMW and never suffered any kind of To abuse. The possible reasons for the decrease include: getting Hungry/hungry! status too often, drinking from pools (you feel exhausted), fighting major undead (Wights, Wraiths, Vampires). A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Nchurmdaz, kissing frogs is a quest you know. All my chars go for it at least once (all are female, I don't play males since they don't get that quest). A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

I've never finished that quest. In all the years i've played, i have created 0 female characters =P Ap never felt like a worthwhile stat to even bother with to me. |

Ap replaces Ch as the shop-related stat for female character, and that's why I play them - it's just plain fun to equip a +7 Ap cloak, a common ruby necklace, a silver crown and watch the prices drop by 10% :D A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. Now that I think of it too, I don't have a single finished female character.. ;) Don't ask why. I don't know it myself. The rust monster touches your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster. Nothing happens. You laugh at the monster's pitiful attempt. |
