you are challenging that your apprentice will go further in adom than your opponent's apprentice. these apprentices have never actually played adom before, but they have read the manual. you're only allowed to give your apprentices 5 sentences of advice before they get themselves slaughtered. the apprentices have only one try to get as far as possible. you're not allowed to demonstrate anything to them, only advice through mouth. progress in the game would be measured through score for me: 1. choose gnome and barbarian 2. go buy food from the first location 3. go south-south-east from the first location to a cave and fight there until death 4. press F7 and run when your hitpoints fall below 10 5. press "w5" until hitpoints max out |

Well I introduced a frind of mine to ADOM (this was way back so a bit late for this challenge), he's beat the game several times while I have never done so... Once I was tired of his smugnes I told him to play a dark elven merchant to shut him up but he still went and won with the combo O_o. Guess some people are just naturals...
