I've got farther then ever before. I've completed Thundar's quest and became the leader of the theif guild. I did the pyramid along with the dwarven graveyard. On my way to finish the king's high tomb I turned chaotic. I can't enter shops and so can't buy the carrot juice to give to burb and obtain the swimming skill needed to go to his mother's layer. I'm a Gray Elven Archer. How do I get rid of corruption at this point and is there another way to obtain the swimming skill. Also I had an alter generated on the second level of the High Kings place. Let the reaper come for me for when he does I shall make him play ADOM and he'll forget about me due to being addicted. |

You don't need swimming skill to make baby dragon happy. All you need - source of water breathing (helm/amulet/ring of fish) and ability to deal with not-so-weak monsters (as dragon turtle). If you have ability to teleport and teleport control, you need only high HP (cause you will need only 4 turns under the water). If you want swimming skill, you can get it by wish, PoE or SoE. And of cource you need to read guidebook - there are many answers. |

Carrot juice is a pretty common drop from monsters. You can hang out in ID level 8-9 and kill for a few weeks (game time) and see what you get. And it's Blup, not burb (thats the acid root). And never wish for swimming :). That particular corruption you speak of can be a game-killer if you get it early. If you have many new corruptions under it your game will be very hard. Hostile dwarf-town, no casino. And I find it more annoying in combat, I usually wanna smack the monsters where they are, not hunt after them. Best advice at your point might be to try to save Khelly. Failing that you could try the rift (if your climbing and stealth both is 100, and you're level 18 or something.) Being Chaotic is not hard to fix. remove all items except artifacts and sac 1gp at a time at the dwarftown altar should turn you to altars alignment. |
