I am trapped in a dungeon. I got teleported by stepping on a trap to a room where I dont seem to find a door. It also happened to me when I was doing quests that many times I cant find stairs that lead deeper into dungeon so I cant complete quests. I wonder if this is a feature that you cant complete quest because the dungeon is generated this way, some kind of bug (I am playing windows version) or there is some command like search that can reveal hidden doors or a tool that could destroy walls or something.

Read my posts there:

That is, topic 'hepl!' in 'spoilers section.
There isn't much of a spoiling, just a very basic technique of playing.
Remember, that every room except for about two in the game have doors. They might be hidden. For rest - go for link I gave you.

The command search (s) is used to search out hidden doors.
Press 'w' then 's' and you will spend a lot of turns in place searching

3. I just don't go there very often. I've been there only once to be true. Just forgot.
4. These are non-guaranteed. One might go through a game without ever encountering one.

How about elemental temples. At least fire temple has no doors. Mana temple had a doorway but one still needed to dig to get to the corridor leading there. Earth temple may have some secret doors (can't remember 100 % sure) but still needed some digging.

I knew I'd forgotten something, but yes the temples must be entered by digging

You cannot teleport into the elemental temples.

The ultimate example of misfortune would be to get teleported to the staircase in the VDDL just as you get the "You suddenly feel attuned to this area in a very special way." message. You can then descend to the Assassin's Guild, but without digging, there's no way to get back out.

Knud: IIRC there is a \oDigging (or was it \oTele) in the small room of the VDDL containing the downstairs. So one would not be stuck there.

The Real J: Alright, suppose it gets destroyed by an acid trap in the Assassins Guild then ;)

Another way to easily find secret doors without searching for an eternity is to kick the walls in question. Secret doors produce the message "Ouch, you really hurt your foot kicking the wall!" or something similar. The "really" is what differentiates it from normal doors. Note that you may kick right through the door, and it may be trapped, so you may not like this alternative. But if you do, remember to always kick the wall at a diagonal to avoid falling door and stone block traps; in fact, that is a good thing to remember for all doors.
