No, you'd better keep them for drinking :-P

Honestly, if you are to ascend to Arch Mage, potions of raw chaos are the easiest way to gain corruptions after the gate is closed. And, especially, one corruption that's very useful for this task ...

Yes, thats the one. Permanently increases PP.
Blessed potions of extra/ultra healing will permanently increase HP, to the point where you can book-cast wish (4500 PP cost) with 1 in all stats. (including mana and toughness).

Would you guys still call it arch-mage if the PC was using an empowered armor, or silvernight, or some other effect while casting? Or does teh term apply to anywhere/anytime?
