Good ones are too expensive... IMO, SoFS in DH:2 might bring you a thingie which would cost heaps and heaps of gold in that shop. For killing a special monster - only if you are lucky enough. You might as well be given a quest to kill *goblin* and find several 'goblin rockthrower' and 'goblin berserker' figurines there. I wonder what would a figurine of writhing mass of primal chaos look like... Ubi patria ibi bene! |

Figurines have quite a few uses, but (IMHO) none of tremendous strategic importance. I always curse my luck when a figurine shop is generated - I would gladly take just about any other shop! |

My latest lvl 21 gelf wiz: Well so far gotten to CoC and found this nice sickle so went on trying it and it turns out to be Moon sickle. Soon after I start to get corruptions&allignment rapidly droped to C-. Date is already 88 so those corruptions might be time corruptions and didn't come from sickle. Now that I got C- I couldn't anymore bless my water on dwarftowns alter to get rid of that damn sickle(had ran outta em b4 gettin this sickle) and when I was messin around alter my other corruption kicks in. And that corruption is unholy aura... which caused shopkeeper to become(permamently?) hostile to me and I had to flee by using invis spell. Went up to get outta CoC and forgot there was shop next to exit -> magic bookstore shopkeeper gets angry and I had to kill him being cornered by him and his thugs. Most funniest thing is that right after killing that shopkeeped I finally got rid of that sickle by ratling duelist disarming me... RNG is punishing me hard for trying to break my record of lvl22 gelf wiz Now thinking about either going to loot other places or gettin back to dwarftown to lure that shopper upstairs to kill him there and wishing towsnfolk wont get angry. I sure wish I got some corruption removal stuff now... |
