Currently I am playing a gnome elementalist. I have got the RotHK, freed Griff's soul and mapped CoC all the way to the wall of flame. Next thing I should do is getting the Fire orb but I haven't got a decent fire resistance and without food pres it probably would take loads of kills before I could get a proper corpse. No =oIce and only one fireproof blanket. Should I try robbing the "great treasures" graves in the dwarven graveyard ? I have death ray resistance (amulet), decent stats (mostly 20+) and decent DV/PV (something like 60/20 in coward). I also have =oInvis and teleport spell (for quick escape if needed). I also have piles of gems including crystals of power/knowledge/health (found Hammerhead in first brief visit to ToEF and used it a lot). I can also use amulet of order to fix my alignment from grave robbing. Should I try it ? Game time is something like 47 days and I could try doing bugville afterwards for those SoCR's if needed. |

If you have some undead slaying amo and a deacent skill in the apropriate missile weapon it's defenenly worth a try. Gnomes live pretty long so aging is not a major problem, and with death ray resistance and teleport on demand you should be eable to run away if need be. Use burning hands on regular and maybe king Liches, but don't try that on Emperor ones, pummel them with blessed undead slaying missiles before they have the time to summon too much crap. All right ! Now things are looking a lot better. I went to the dwarven graveyard and robbed all the "great treasures" graves. The liches didn't cause much problems but... no ring of ice, and no more fireproof blankets. Tsch. Okay, tried out the CoC graveyeard. Loads of summoned monsters and lotsa stuff. But still no rings of ice or more fireproof blankets. Fine, then lets try ToEF with just 2 blessed fireproof blankets. Whoa ! I made it ! And didn't even lose much stuff. Fire monsters fell easily to frost bolts - even ACW. I still didn't have lv 3 fire resist so I ate the ACW corpse and got it. Next stop - bugville. With my ring of invis and frost/fire bolts the place was a pushover. I smashed the statues and grabbed the stuff in them and munched on loadsa corpses - DX >90 and speed 180+ - Whoa ! Now I'm in casino, and just happened to find a WoWishing in gift shop (2 charges). What should I wish ? Any ideas ? I'm thinking of winning loads of dosh in the games and paying Garth for training. Perhaps some more SoCR ? I have something like 6 b?oCR so they shouldn't run out too soon. Perhaps spellbooks of acid ball ? |

Spellbooks of acidballs are one good wish and if you are running out of strenght wish for girdle of giant strenght. Also eternium plate mails could be a good wish 'coz there could come some special abilities to them i.e. Vigilant eternium plate mail of life (+4 pe, +20% HP) But it's unlikely that you would get so good one. And if you cleared the bugtown you have the vigillant adamantium platemail of travelling already. I suggest spellbooks of Acidball. And don't forget to bless those Crystals of knowledge and use them.
