Don't take the speed talents at start, take alert -> miser -> treasure hunter. That way you'll find lots more stuff including spellbooks! About the stat generation, I'd answer the questions. Be sure to use the guidebook question spoilers at http://andywlms.com/adom/adomgb-0-14.html section 0.14.15. Cooking can only be learnt randomly through potions/scrolls of education. Hurthlings also automatically get this skill. |

Pick a race with the foor preservation skill - humans, trolls, hurthlings, drakelings get it. |

Remember you can also "passively" train your Food preservation skill (asuming you have it) by carrying corpses (and other decaying food) around, even if they are not eadable, so those kobold and zombie corpses are not totaly useless, asuming you can handle the extra weight. rat corpses are good to carry around, because they are itty bitty (small) *<< Words go here >>* |

Yeah, but you can't eat them... Just drop the heaviest non-edible corpses first when you get to your weight limit. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

I've heard that those rat corpses actually has a satiation value close to that of a bone. Is this true? http://tankefel.blogspot.com/ So far you have only killed one wild cat. |

It does have a tiny satiation value, but it may or may not be close to a bone. But...since the bone's satiation value is rather pitiful, they're probably somewhat close. |

I suggest you to whiplash your character to death. |
