How do I get myself out of this mess? My character (Brutus the trollish barbarian) is unnaturally aged. I want to get rid of this. I'm not strong enough to get to the pools in darkforge. Potions of youth and pools are the only way to remove unnatural aging that i can recall. Pools seem to age more then they un-age. Bless ur potions of youth, obviously. Dip a few potions into a blessed potion of exchange in DH:2. Aging is one of the biggest problems trolls face. You're just ganna have to be careful, kill ghostlikes quickly and from a distance. Random newbie speculation here: would potions of longevity help at all? Would they raise your lifespan from 100 years to 200 years (say), so that although you were still the same age it wasn't "old" any more? Are you more likely to get potions of youth by doing the dipping in DH:2 rather than anywhere else? If you were dipping into potions of raw chaos, would you still be better off doing it in DH:2? (I wouldn't advise playing with PoRC, Amanda, but you have got much further than me, and YMMV). |

lots of stuff can be generated tehre. i've fought blue dragons in there, and revanatns... lots of stuff. so i'd expect more powerful items to be dropped too. ivan.sourceforge.net |

Potions of longlivity does increase your life span. You will still be "old", but you are not likely to die quite as soon as before. When you character gets generated you will get a lifespan, once you reach that age you die. Potion sof longlivity increase this age, though probably not very much... Keep in mind that eating a lot of quickling queens (and maybe a few others, I forget) will also LOWER your life expectency (live fast, die young). Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

When your in a higher danger level the equipment that loads is of a higher level itself. Therefore if you dip in DH:2, with it's high danger for a low level you have a greater chance of a good item. The load rate for potions of youth for trolls seems to be rather low. (even if you don't get potions of youth you're more likely to get something better) DougyDougy - Dougy - DougyDougy |

amanda there are several age reducing products on the market these days. or you could have your troll lay down for a nice sleep with some cucumbers over his eyes, i hear that works nicely. also try getting him/her laid...that should helps tons. |

A couple of levels below Dwarftown the dungeon splits into two: animated forest and the dwarven halls, which then join together. So it's somewhere between 13-15 CoC, I think. If something can go wrong, it will. |
