I just killed a royal guardian and it had dropped a corpse, And I thought it would be stylish to animate him so I did. And now the royal guardion shadow is called Otto. but when he whas alive he was called boris. Wtf? You hit boris, the royal guardian and slay him! you pick up the royal guardian corpse you animate the corpse Otto, the royal guardian shadow adjusts to your power like that Is it just a bug and is the named chanced in another guardian name? And I didnt know monster keep their name when you kill and animate them. |

The names are random, so most likely the game generates a new one every time a royal guard is created. And since creating a slave is creating a new creature, the game generates a name for it. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Yer character simply didn't like that poor royal guardian's name(Boris) and decided to kill him and then reanimate him to be his undead servan with MUCH better name :-) |
