I keep forgetting to do that, rely anoying when you play mindcrafters can't can't remember the shortcut to the mindcraft menu and have to go via the class skill list :P Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

"tab" does mindcraft, and "esc" casts spells (because they are synonyms to Ctrl+I and Shift+Z) |

Yeah, but the "tab trick" doesn't seem to work on the Winbeta version, that's what I meant. It's hardwired to the German keyboard layout or some such. Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin [Edited 1 time, last edit on 12/31/2005 at 13:10 (GMT -5) by Jan Erik] |

Yeah, it's kind of annoying. I play the DOS version nowadays, with "full screen" turned on. In other news, happy new year! It's five hours away yet here, but I'm guessing it's already happened for some of you. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

Is that the full screen thing that makes like the big room a BIG ROOM? 'cause I'd like to do that ^_^ You wish to kill me? Good thing I brought my psychic hamster named Hamster with me... |

the dos reason now works for me in W2k for some reason. It hasn't worked earlier. Also for you having problems getting the dosversion of ADoM to work in W2k, try running it in command.com instead of cmd. I don't know how that would help, I have exactly the same version of ADoM as the rest of you, but I just happen to be able to run it under W2k. Also you could try downloading dosbox (but dosbox requires a quite fast computer to be able to handle ADoM my 800MHz with 256Mb ram wasn't enough) http://dosbox.sourceforge.net/download.php?main=1&begaming_website_session=ad48ea4acf9644bc00f6b922d9218ae4 there you can choose which version of Dosbox you want "I don't know what World War 3 will be fought with, but I know World War 4 with be fought with sticks and stones." - Albert Einstein |

mhm, you´re probably right... my NB has 1700 MHz/256MB but I won´t try that:-) Thanks anyway! |
