I just deleted two empty threads that said something about a forum RFE (I realy ought to do something to prevent that from happening I suppose)... So what was it you wanted to say? Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

It didn't crash exactly though the forum with the empty thread wouldn't display properly (the code that print out the date of the last message wasn't set up to handle a NULL value, and so it stopped executing and displayed an error message if it didn't get the date it expected). The problem is that I don't have transaction support, so if the script is interupted it may only create the thread and then stop before the message is added to it (it's two seperate tables so I have to run two seperate SQL expressions)... I'll see about adding some code that auto-delete any empty threads in a forum before it display the listing. Shouldn't be to hard. Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |

ahhh sorry about that but i couldn't delete them either... i was suggesting that you could make it possible to change the time zone so i can post my messages the time my clock says, not some chaps in europe. It'd make it easier for me to understand when people have replied to messages and stuff. DougyDougy - Dougy - DougyDougy |

Hmm, it shouldn't be to hard to ajust the server-time to fit your local time as long as you tell the forums what time zone you are in... I'll add it to my to-do list, and see if I can get around to doing something after christmas... Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |
