Sometimes I just hate ADOM.I hate the RNG. There I was trying the true berseker challenge with a dwarven barbarian lusting for blood.The early game was a bit difficult.I got through that somehow.In no time I was splaterring almost all monsters that dared cross my path.Clened out darkforge at lvl 14.Kool.Pyramid at lvl 13.This guy was a walking tank with Hp being regenerated in a single turn.Got every single resiestance from darkforge.Nothing negative.Got a wish of the very first pool I drank. Everything was going great until the water temple.Got poison hands corruption.It's the worst corruption there is.Adding that to the fact that I was playing true berseker challenge cant use any body armor and never change tactics from Beserk.No armor means no thick gauntlets.Arghhh.When I thiugh it couldnt get much worse it did.In no time I had the Hooves corruption which means My Dx dropped to 9.*Sigh*was getting hit by every grue around.Couldnt believe it could get much worse.Arghhh I'm pissed and I'm abandanoing this char.I hat the RNG. |

I think what madman means is that he started of with those corruptions at a stage where you usually dont have too many SoCR's. I almost always get the eyes corruption first. Duke IIRC there is a kicking only challenge game. Fighting Gerbils???? THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |
