I'm in a band (actually, im in 3, but yeah) and we're playing in a song writting/performing competition, one category of which is creative lyrics...We decided to either make a song out of onbe of the mad minstrel tunes, or write a song about the life of an ADOM character as one of our entries...i was hoping for a little input from any other musically inclined adomers out there... -Peace Out, War In -Jacknife |

I've already written three songs about Adom. I'm planning to do about 10-15 songs and write a story about High Elven Fighter and her quest. I don't know does it sound good but I'm trying to get a little bit of meaning and seriousness into the lyrics. I've already written how she arrives at Drakalor Chain(furious symphonic power metal hymn), how she meets Greater White Unicorn and finally slays it(power metal ballad) and a story about the steel army of the Darkforge(that's sort of mix between aggressive black metal and fast melodic power metal). Yeah, I know I have way too big plans but I can always try. Keep on making good music and I'd love to see someone really publishing some songs with lyrics about ADOM in them. |

Ok, if you want to do a rap, it has to be phat. I think it's very bad idea to do song about playing ADOM. How can such lyrics have any kind of meaning? I'm not too much into crappy and simple lyrics. There has to be meaning behind the words or at least words should mean something. I don't want to turn this into any kind of fight between musical tastes but I'd rather eat a tension room full of kobolds than listen to rap music.(Yeah, that was kick ass throw!).
