Roughly how long is one turn? In terms of the game time. How long is 2000 turns? --- Ladies and Gentleman, take my advice. Pull down your pants, and slide on the ice. Ladies and Gentleman, take my advice. Pull down your pants, and slide on the ice. |

one turn in wilderness is not equal 1 turn in dungeon. also heavily influenced by char speed, atttack/movement energy. also 7lb in wilderness. in wilderness it depends on terrain. plaisns are easy to walk, and mountains are tough to climb. and for example, if you have 7lbs then walking one turn takes less time than 'w'ating one turn. Taz: A potion of gain attributes (4s) is lying here. Suddenly a stone block hits your head! On another note like this, how many stones in one pound? Or, for you Europeans how many stones in a kilogram? And why does a rock weigh 2 stones? Homework is not meant for home! It's a sick verbal coincidence! -My brother |

1 stone is 6,4 kilograms, and 14 pounds. |

The adom "stone" is made-up by Thomas Biskup. The acctual "stone" unit is 14 pounds, that's 6.35 kg. Which would mean, that every potion is at least 12 litres :P A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

in adom 1 stone--50g in game faq section 5b. 100g for a potion is somewhat reasonable. A root is a flower that disdains fame. Kahlil Gibran(1883-1931) |

maelstrom, depends how dense the potion it. if it's made of pure mercury (the famous potion of poison, i'd guess :-D) then it'd be a pretty small but heavy vial. Still, the relation of different weighs in ADOM is sometimes quite strange. If 1 s equals 50 g as stated then an iron ration would weigh 5 kilos and a large one 10 kilos (either Ancardians are gluttons or most of the ration weigh is packaging. Or each ration includes a miniature cooking set). Spellbooks weigh 5 kilos (book of confucius 20 kilos). IIRC ancient dragon corpses weigh 480 s (or was it 240) or 24 kilos (about the size of a medium-sized dog, I 'd guess). Then again, a moloch armor would weigh 750 kilos (pretty heavy). Yeah, using integers for weighs results in some quite unbelievable weighs since one has to cater for both small weighs (like one coin) and large weighs (corpse of a dragon) it would require having heavier objects weighing several thousand units. Using decimals might help in avoiding that, like having one coin weigh, say 0.01 units. Sytytä toiselle tuli ja hän pysyy lämpimänä jonkin aikaa. i always believed 1kilogram is about 2.2 pounds not opposite. so book weights 11 pounds. 10 strength according manual is standart value of ordinary guy. i' m sort of capable to walk with 50 pounds in backpacck. draging 2000 stones (100kg--220pounds) for a day (100kg--220pounds) undoubtfully would be stressing experience and i doubt about fast increase of strength.
