...is killing me! Or rather, annoying me. I'm playing a level 16 dwarven priest, not burdened, and I can't navigate a single screen without reaching hunger or worse. What's the deal? I'm worried that if something should happen to my ratling traders (during another game an acid trap generated right in the middle of the ratling traders area and wiped them all out) and my supply of cooked lizards runs out, I'm going to be in a pretty tight jam. Apparently drinking from pools will slow your digestion a bit, but are there any other ways? You pick up the Wand of Do Nothing. 'z'... Nothing happens. 't'... The Wand of Do Nothing misses the kestral. Come on, it's a Wand of Do Nothing! |

Drinking from pools doesn't sow your digestion. The things that increase it though are items that grant invisibility and artifacts. Take these off and be unburdened and you'll have normal metabolism. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |
