Hello, everyone. I just got ADOM about a week ago, so I'm learning the ropes as best I can. What a great game! Anyhow, I equipped the Moon Sickle by accident and can't seem to get it off. Is there any way? I notice that holy water turns into potions of raw chaos when you try to bless it (like you would a ring of the fish). My character can't seem to find any scrolls of uncursing. Do these work? Or am I stuck with this weapon? Thanks in advance for your help! |

Pray if you have enough piety, and if you want to enjoy the game, don't ask in spoiler section, you will have 100x more fun if you don't read spoilers...I know from experience. Welcome to the forums though, and congrats on making it to the Caverns of Chaos in your first week, took me several to get that far. "You try to give Fang, the large dog the bone. Thanks for the quick response, mAsTeR. I think I got a bit lucky, actually. I looked through the skills and thought the best combination of skills would be the Dark Elven Ranger, which I now realize is pretty common. Anyway, I got two crownings in before I had to generate any artifacts and found three potions of gain attributes and a pair of seven league boots, all of which I promptly blessed. This is by far the best character I've had so far, so I don't want him to croak! Thanks for your help! |

praying will get it off, also the uncurse item spell, but as a ranger you probably won't get that. "If the bread weights that much in the draklor chain, then it's no wonder so many die of starvation.
