Sometimes i get the message "you hear the steps of the royal guard".. I know that this means that I am in a "royal vault" level.. but what does it means? I never finded any "royal treasure" in those levels! What do you usually do in "royal vaults"? Thanks. |

the reason you've never found the gold is that the room with gold is always separated from the rest of the level, so you can't enter it without digging/teleport. Thanks guys! Is attacking the guardian causing the pc to curse/doom etc? Is it generally a good idea to kill him? |

IIRC the guard won't even care about the PC unless attacked or spoken to. So, you can just enter the vault, pick up all gold and exit as long as you don't attack the guard or speak to him.
