My current char is a human healer lvl 16, born in Wand.
He's got 3 weapons to choose from:
- an eternium spear (+0, 2d8+8), spears is lvl 9 already.
- his precrown gift, the emerald dagger 'serpent's bite', (+3, 3d4+3) [+3, +1], +crits, slays humanoids. Daggers are lvl 1, just from the scalpel.
- found directly after being precrowned, a 35s longsword - sword of sharpness (+2, 4d8+6). Swords are lvl 7, from adamantium swords which replaced his spear after it got rusty.

He has no spells (just got teleportation, and some magic missile of a wand of wonder), so he's basicly a fighter with 220hps and regeneration.

Further precrowns not avaliable, the ancient scythe got generated at D:13, so i'm at the limit.

EDIT: daggers are lvl 5 now, a beehive boosted it pretty quickly.

I'd go for the emerald dagger, too. Your swords level is high enough to actually do some damage with that sword in case you come across golems, molochs. I think.

No way am I going to fight with two weapons... with a Healer, come on! What good would it do? None. An adamantium tower shield with the shield talents and shields at level 10 gives me 39 DV. A second weapon can't top that.

BTW - got the apish corruption, decided to keep it. It works wonders, but the reccuring effects also lower Dx :( Passed day 90 too (a hint: never, i mean NEVER tap 'y'es, when some shopkeeper wants you to keep him company... 14 days. FOURTEEN DAYS! I don't even want to know what my healer did for fourteen days in the company of a male troll).

It seems that when you spend "some" time with a lonely creature, the game takes a number out of it's behind, and adds that to the time passed. It's usually a few days, but what I got was extreme :/

Well I'm never spending time again with the little girl after I give her the puppy corpse. Give her a candy, maybe, but that's all.

Thank you everybody. Due to your help, Whitemage killed every single balor on the last level and archieved a normal victory. :D

Indeed. I could barely make a dent in one balor with my l.35 dwarven priest...but slaying every balor on the level? What a feat..move over Gandalf! :D

I did that again with a Dark Elf Beastfighter, on Octoper 23rd :P But that was easy, that guy killed 29 greater molochs with his bare hands.
One by one, sometimes took 2 at once. A random "tension room" on the Earth Temple level was filled with them.
And he punched through their PV. +243 bonus to hit, 1d36+108 damage while leaving the Draklor Chain - Beastfighters rule :D

[Not gonna submit him - by accident I picked up a few potions in a shop, while having poison hands - the score got bugged: -572460500 points!. ]

Some advice for your priest - even with that much firepower in melee, I used ball spells. A lot.
