Does it mean "Likely to find unidentified things" or "Likely to find things" or "Likely to find powerful things"? Of is it just flavourful text, because I don't seem to find anything really good as a Bard. |

Well everyone find unidentified things, so that's out. Guess it simply mean that if you play a bard the item generation rate is higher than normal, usualy that will result in finding something usefull and nice eventualy... Sort of like wizards finding more spellbooks than others, that doesn't mean you will find a spellbook every time you round a corner, but overall the odds of finding them are better. Tame a killer bug = not so useless. They're also a spellcaster/fighter combinations with whatever skills your lucky enought to get rolled. However in the early game they are rather weak. From my playage of bards they tend to get more powerful items. Looking back on a flag i had a drakeling bard with blessed crown of fire (only one i've ever seen load, bar wishes), two rings of ice and a tower crystal shield - all before doing the ToEF. Yeah, you have me there. But I just have a hard enough time as it is, getting started in the game. A handicap doesn't help me any lol. |
