I have a giant boar, had him since I was about level 8/9 - I've only just got to the casino, but basically everything that is evil before that the Boar has killed. I think the shopkeeper was panicing after the second round and died on the 4th round of combat. +-+-+- Giant boars seem to have a DV of 15. Usually they attack 1-7 times (4 on the average). A hit causes 4-290 points of damage (54 on the average). They seem to have an average speed of about 200. |

it's a regular flesh golem IIRC..although, the last time i had him my speed was too much to keep him for long so i not sure about 1.0 |

IMO their speed should increase as they level up. maybe +1 every 2 levels? then by the time they hit lvl 100 they'd be able to catch up w/ you pretty easily. ivan.sourceforge.net |

Only win that I ever had was with HighElf/Necromancer. I went into quickling tree at LvL. 50 and made the quickling king my undead bitch. Now he ROCKED. It's a good thing I couldn't gain any more levels 'cause every time I walked into a room he would slaughter everything on the level. Had a speed of 900 or so, I can't remember exactly. I had Hawkslayer turn on me once. Dirty bastard... I had just finished the ToEF, I didn't bring him with me. I guess that pissed him off 'cause when I went back to Terinyo where I had left him he turned on me. I attacked back and made the whole town hostile for some reason. That ever happen to anyone else? hrmmm thats odd... i had a hostile farmer once, he got peed off at me for switching places with him. Then blup killed him. Buahaha new way to obtain farmer corpse. Ohh and i had a killer bug take out the entire bug temple... they kill most opponenets without them attacking. I think it'd be nice to take it to darkforge or the emperor moloch. Speaking of companions, I'd like to hear if I was very lucky to have gotten GEE, the greater earth elemental. Way, a bored healer, lvl 22, all stats around 20-25, cleaned out dark forge, pyramid, but no great feeling to take on ToEF, he went to the deeper dwarven hall and read a SoFS, to see how First Aid and Healing works on others, there came GEE. Since GEE, life has been more boring, GEE killed everything in one blow without a miss ever (not that Way cared to count the misses). First Aid and Healing or steoroscope are useless on GEE. But "V"s showed GEE's hitpoints should be high, -- only slightly injured, and regenerated in 5-10 turns. GEE killed the snake from beyond in 2 attacks (2 rounds, not injured). For the only greater earth elemental, in memory, Way found 30-340 damage, 1-4 attacks/round. Way never found GEE attacking no than once in a single round. Way never got a lvl up since GEE, it could walk on diggable walls and was always there to stop the enemy. It sometimes tossed some huge rocks which pleased Way the hurthling. But in the ancient maze GEE could not get past wall and fight for Way, after a while Way decided to quit the maze and have GEE to finish ToEF, when he almost got the exit. He heard something like "some change of heart" against him, and then he saw, GEE, a few steps away, is now hostile. Yes, companions do change their mind without being hurt. But life for Way was not worse, he run out of the maze and went on and on and got some real willpower to finish the game alone. Training or GEE was a long waste unless there is a way to keep him. |

I dragged greater white unicorn in terinyo, and the bastard went ballistic, killed many farmers, the druid and tiny girl. When I killed it my alignment dropped to C-. good thing I haven't been crowned yet. bad thing is I can't get my alignment to rise, so chaotic it is then. I think that whole situation is a goddamn bug. *grr* |

Standard advice for getting rid of C-: If you have Survival, you can get a bunch of seeds and give them to beggars. I do that if I'm desperate. Also saccing 10 to 100 gp at a lawful altar helps...take everything off, drop everything, and wear an artifact. Die Gedanken sind Frei |

Wait a sec I thought TB fixed that seed thingy. Yup saccing gold can get you to LN max. Also giving food to beggars.Especially stomafillia You can give gold to beggars too.But it has to be more an 1000. THE MESSIAH,I'm here now,Worship me. |
