You're carrying corrupting items perhaps? Enemies with corrupting touch can still corrupt you even after the gate is closed. Some places still have background corruption too. Locke Cole |

Ahh but only the very nasty ones do, the stone circle, SIL and last level of scant cave, all do there's others i think but i can't remember atm. The blue dragon caves definately has no background corruption after the chaos gate is closed. And i'm pretty sure that D:50 doesn't either - a good reason to close it then kill the balors.
