Jan Erik: Recently the Spoilers forum has been invaded by a spammer. He is currently calling himself "korent, korent" and titling his threads "korent" but used other names previously e.g. "kostja". All his spams are appearing in their own threads (one spam per thread) and consist of a list of links. Please could you block this spammer as it is rather tiresome having to delete his posts every single day? |

Is it maybe possible to block posts that have, say, more than 3 web links in them? This would do away with over 90% of the spam posts, whilst not interfering with regular activity. |

Yup, it's propably designed to dodge most common scripts that could catch it. I wouldn't be surprised if it had an IP mask... A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Well I blocked those usernames (not hat I expect that to stop any spammer worth his salt for more than a few seconds), and tweaked my (all too basic) spam detection filters a little. Hopefully this is just another one of those mindles zombie things that wander the web in search of anyting with a text field and a submit button and not something that will actively try to get around any stumbeling blocks I put in it's path.
