what the hell. i went back to dd just to do keethrax quest and get my cc potion, lost tons of scrolls cuz it was raining got there did the quest, pick up the corpse and it rots away after i move one wilderness tile - oh and i even teleported to the stairs each time. lame... |

You should have dipped it into blessed water. ;-) You attack the Ancient pink dragon with all of your force, but do not mange to harm it! Corpses rot away, less so if you have Food Preservation. Blessing and uncursing them will make them last longer (they rot from blessed to uncursed to cursed to non-existant). A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

You can also cook your corpses, either with using fire spells or traps (not burning hands) and the corpses last considerably longer. The rust monster touches your blessed Trident of the Red Rooster. Nothing happens. You laugh at the monster's pitiful attempt. |

Backup your save files in case of a crash BC. I lost a bunch of potential game winning characters to windows or ADOM crashes myself before I started backing up.
