Since someone mentioned in another thread that they thought one version was used more than another, lets find out how valid that assumption was.

Do you use the regular dos version (yes) or the winbeta version (no) of adom?

Neither - I use ADOM Sage, which is undisputedly superior to all other versions. More stable, can be run fullscreen or resized to different fonts, and has a tonne of handy features to enhance gameplay (without actually changing any gameplay mechanics). Get it from here if you haven't tried it already.

Of the DOS and Winbeta versions I'd say Winbeta is better, since it's doesn't use up 100% CPU in Windows XP.

I use the Dos version on Win XP and it doesnt' seem to cause any problems.

The dos version runs fullscreen just fine, and the only time it ever has crashed on me is when I try to generate a char with a name already being used.

I use Adom 1.1.1. for Mac. No idea about any additional information. I must say ADOM Sage looks like it has some priceless features.

I tried Sage. On older computers, it is
slow. Winbeta is fastest. Fullscreen matters
little to me. I've had fewer crashes with
winbeta.

I use adom 1.1.1 for OSX but the beta4 because my current game is for this version. The beta4 has problems at launch but after seems fine. The beta5 seems have no more problems at launch but I have't try it further.

I admit I'd like something like Sage, in fact I'd like be able add myself some Sage stuff for pets and a cleaner log (like instead of "xxx failed to hit yyy, xxx failed to hit yyy.." "xxx failed to hit yyy (5)" Plus some log colors for some special events like a pet level up and so on. Not to mention some new commands and shortcuts (with the beta4 defining your own command file doesn't work).
