Man, had a really great wizard game going. RoDS in high king cave for Kelly, scroll and book shop generated, had ring of ice, 2 blankets, tons of herbs, white, blue, and red dragonscale mails stolen from darkforge, port/invis books out the wazzoo...would have been an EASY win....till i hand the amulet to Kelly and the game crashes. :( Prolly would have been around 40k moves win. I never save the game either. I can't live without the "without saving himself" ending. Bleh. I always heard about the Kelly crash but i had never experienced it before. |

That is damned evil... I know how it feels - and it comes at that moment in the game where you think "Khelly saved, easy time from here". Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

yeah, if saving him didn't get you so many points, i'd just let the bastard die every time from now on. Especially with a wizard. Shouldn't really need the scrolls. |

I think I've lost at least 4 promising characters to the Khelly crash. Probably the most frustrating bug of the game. Redundancy is good. And also good. |
