Anyone know how much damage this spell does when you use it against someone like Griff Bloodaxe? |

From the ADOM guidebook, Destroy/Dispel undead: (level + 1)d6 + effectivity + willpower. This spell can be evaded by some undead, higher effectivity reduces evasion chance. |

Against higher undead like liches this will be evaded about 1/3 times. Against other undead it is the most damaging spell in the game, especially if you get effectivity up. I highly encourage you to spam this cheap but effective spell to oblivion - it is truly an amazing piece of magic. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

Thanks...who'd have thought...the guidebook. Was wondering because it usually takes 4-6 casts of Burning Hands/Baptism to kill him for me. |
