Does the amulet of protection from undead protect you from stat drains from vamps, wights? Ghost aging? Considering a greater vault with a melee fighter and wondered if it would help...

iirc, it gives something like a 1/8 chance to avoid paralyzation or strength drain; 1/4 chance if blessed.
Not any gaurantee, by any means, and you might be better off wearing the ankh.
I don't recall if it helps vs. Aging, but it definitely does nothing against lich stat drains, since those are spells and not attacks.

It probably helps you against the clay golem's slowing attack. In this case, it's more useless than the undead protection one.

Then again, I heard somewhere that it lowers the amount of criticals you get from that type of monster...
