Just a few things, I have been wondering about.

Whats the deal with shell armor? Is it just worthless armor or does it have a unique use?

What exactly does woodcraft do? (I already know what the manual says.)

Will post more as they come back to me.

Just recalled one...

Other then the fact you can't remove them does using a cursed shield or weapon have anything other effect?

Shell Armor is just like any other armor.

Woodcraft is rubbish; it makes the Animated forest more friendly, at least ;P

Using cursed equipment doesn't have much in the way of negative effects, but it IS more likely to break. Weapons do have a special case, though - they will deal only half damage to undead and demons when cursed (and 50% more if blessed).

Woodcraft reduces the wilderness time spent crossing forests, and makes chopping down trees with a hatchet a bit quicker. Not sure of it's real effects in the animated forest, but it's certainly nothing special. Overall it's one of the most worthless skills in the game.

Still better than both Law and Metallurgy, though!

It's on the weak side but can be useful. You'll usually still be hit by an unfound trap, but auto-avoiding a couple per game can be a lifesaver or equipment-saver. Not really a top-recommended talent, but there are tons of worse choices.

Is item dropped determined when monsters spawns or when they are killed?

I am testing the one about the bolts & picked up items, now.

My scroll is still intact after about 10 orcs. I'll keep it up for awhile though.

But then I also am wondering about items monsters equip. Getting the monster to equip the item though might take some doing.

I am gonna say no, the bolts do not destroy items monster have picked up.

No.

Killed.

Probably not, but not certain.
