Hey people, long time no see. The forum seems quite dead, maybe people are just lurking, or hanging at the official ADOM forum. Anyways, I was thinking, wouldn't it be nice to have a little contest game in ADOM? I remember participating in something like this here earlier on. It could be anything, I'd prefer something very challenging, maybe a less player class like merchants or something. Feel free to throw in ideas :) |

I thought about something like the Iron Man, but slightly different: -Proceed directly to ID - You ARE allowed to explore each level completely, but you ARE NOT allowed to go back a level (so only descending) - Who gets to the deepest level wins :) Now to decide, which race and class? Come on people, I have seen many ppl online, you can post and participate, it's not dangerous :) |

I'd think melee characters will have better odds than ranged or magic users since the latter have to depend on scavenged ammo and books. But I haven't tried... Move the cursor to the desired position and press [SPACE] when done. Impossible. Suddenly you stand elsewhere. You see an ancient altar of black obsidian. The goblin rockthrower suddenly shouts a prayer to his gods! You are consumed by a roaring column of flame! |
