I'm a lvl 50 DE Wizard about to go for an ULE. I'm currently Chaotic, and need to change to L+. Am I wasting my time wearing Amulet of order, or will it work eventually? I have no Lawful altars in useful places, one on lvl 46, another in Scintilating Cave. Any suggestions on Alignment change appreciated. |

Yes, at level 50 you are just wasting your time with the amulet. However, neither of those places are useless for an altar if you want an ULE. Use them. Then get a pet and start drowning and healing your pet in the underwater cave. 1l= Y0(_) [4l\l R34[) 7l-l15, Y0(_) l\/l(_)57 83 PR377Y G00[). |

Thanks Maul. I've already tried healing a pet in the cave. Ran out of heal spells and accidentally hit it after casting darkness instead of cure. Trying to get neutral in Dwarf town. Will move to lvl46 later. |

Well it all went very wrong!!. Got bored of dropping single gold pieces on altar in Dwarf town. Dumped 1k gold in one hit. Altar converted to Evil, priest got a bit mad. Didnt sac me,PHEW, but the ensuing dwarf town massacre has moved me to C-. Now with pet no.2 in blup cave, healing pet as much as possible. Doesnt seem to be having any impact at all on alignment. All suggestions are welcome. Alignment isnt changing, a lot of healing of pet has occured with no chage. Dont want to spend a lot of time 1g sac per turn in high chaos areas. This is a slam dunk ULE if only I can convert. |

Have you tried giving mass amounts of gold to beggars? Maybe hit the casino, then just dumps tons of gold on the beggars. |

Despite a lot of gold going on beggars, no change. I'm using 1001 gold per drop, and have spent a lot of time doing this. Beginning to think that at lvl 50, you just cant change alignment |

Giving gold to beggars doesn't change much. Blessed Stomafilia herbs on the other hand give a really big increase IIRC. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

Whip of slaughtering would help - remove all PV items, wear a ring of doom, get yourself sick and start whipping. Will require about 3 or 4 times your max HP though. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |

Nearly there thanks to you guys. Stomafilla herbs when blessed are excellent. Gone from over 5,000 black stones on the balance scale to 1,400. Does anyone know how many balck stones on the balance scales takes me to neutral? |

0 is neutral, and then 4k white stones is L+. Might take some time... Altars should work faster for you now if you know of any neutral ones. Just be sure to keep it to 1 gold per sac, and have all other equipment removed and dropped since the god is likely peeved at you now...
