So I happened to stumble into a room entirely full of jackalweres, and now my barbarian is fairly trapped in dwarftown with around 350 of the devils killed and no way to go back up. Mind you im level 11 and had just got there. Worst room ever. |

Ouch... only thing I can think of is to move the old dwarf somehow and pull the lever, then try to proceed below. |

I would try and lure them to the dwarftown level and let the guards or the temple priest kill them. This is how I typically kill cats/lions/tiger/etc. I'm not 100% positive, but I believe you could also sacrafice them on the altar. |

Without Fire orb he is unable to achieve Shortcut To the Surface as well as D50. So moving the old dwarf worst only in the case he want to lift Banshee up =) Sacrifice is not allowed for summoned creatures. Do you have any Teleport and/or invisibility source? until it sleep |

Banshee may not be a bad idea, if he has some earwax. Waldenbrook, the dwarven shopkeeper, mumbles: "I'd offer 9 gold pieces for yer dwarven child corpse." |
