I did a "little" orchestral about ADOM couple days ago... I thought that I should post it here too, 'cause, well, these boards are for ADOM.
If someone's interested, here it is:
Ancardia.mp3

Sorry about the bad quality, the filesize is 12 megs in .IT (tracked format). Just rename the file to .mp3 after you have downloaded it... or should I say if. Hope you like it. =)

i'm always interested in new music. i hope i like it. depending on how good it is i migh tadd it to the slowly growing list of background music stuff i've collected that i usually play when i'm playing a game w/o sound (or when i'm bored).

I'm not the most "musical" person around (this is the 3. mp3 file on my conputer (not counting the ones that are part of a game, or my copy of the Radio theathre version of the Hitchikers guide to the galaxy), but I like it (the other two are beefed up versions of the themes from the Great Giana sisters and the Rambo game :p).

If ADOM was a movie this would make a good "theme" for it IMHO. It does have a scertain ADOM'is feel to it...

its' pretty good IMO. some of the ones i have are better, but then again i doubt you could find 4 files on my HD (other than .mp3's) that are the same format...
the only problem with it IMO is that it kinda sounds tinny. if it had a better sound quality i'd like it better, but hey, it's your music
IMO you ought to post it on www.modarchive.com and see what they rate it (if they ever do get around to rating it; probably 80% of the files there haven't been rated.)

Umm, I said when I posted this that the mp3 has lousy sound quality, I have the original version which has it's volumes right and stuff. And I've been artist in Modarchive about 6 months, got one review and been in their top10 twice in the past 4 months... So that's it about modarchive =)

Ever considered the Ogg Vorbis or wma format?
They preserve more quality.

BTW what do you use edit your files.
I use Acid,Sound forge and occasionly Fruityloops
for drum beats.

P.S: You an audiophile?

I didn't edit that one, and usually I don't convert my .ITs to mp3s... And if I do, I use Soundforge for editing. And ogg and wma are way behind of mo3... And yes, I am an audiophile...

Crimson I liked some of your songs a lot.
Especially your first number within me.It's really metallurky.I love the way you use drum beats.Like your LOTR number too.I didnt get time to listen to all your numbers.
P.S:I showed some of friens youre songs (audiophiles). They loved em.
The only negative thing I can say is that some of youre music sounds like oldschool videogame music. That might be a good thing.

Thanks for the comments, I really didn't expect this kind of "fame" ... It's your opinion of course, but I dislike within me, tho it got 9,5 from modarhive and got to top10... hmm... wonder what the heck they were thinking : )

It's probably 'cause of those samples what I used... it's really hard to find good metal samples if you don't record your own ones... I could do that too, but I'm too lazy. And now I've found good guitars which sounds realistic.

OIC.Well best of luck with your new guitar sounds.

P.S: Have you searched all those audio sites for good metal samples. If you want I can give ya some
sites to search for this stuff.Although I guess by now you've tried evrywhere.
I do occasionly fiddle with sound since I'm a designer. If you have the patience you could try fruityloops.Make your own samles.Thats what I do.
*Occasionly* I use some loops from flashkit

no, no, no, you got that wrong... I have shitloads of good guitars and stuff but the point is that, reviewers and other ppl gets bored to the same sound so you need to use the guitars at aa different way or just change your samples.
Umm, and I think that fruityloops isn't so good prog for doing disorted guitars

Sorry If i got that wrong.
I agree that Fruityloops isnt much of a prog for distorted guitars. It's decent for acid and techno.
One thing is for sure.Youre tunes are improving.I downloaded all you songs.
