For the first time in ages, something nice has happened to me in ADOM! I was in the infinate dungeon, when I came across a battle axe of slaughtering 'Hmm' I thought, 'Seems better than the usuall crap you find in here' Sadly, it rusted due to an unexpected water trap. Feeling gutted, I decided to pop into the outlaw shop in hopes of finding a potion of rust remove, when what did I see? A white mithril battle axe of devastation (+0,5d6 +11)! My heart sank when I saw the ridiculous price tag of 44,0000 or something. However, remembering I had a potion of invisibility, I drank it down, stroll in and came out with more than I had ever expected! (Well, I thought it was exciting anyway....) May thy widom be omnipresent! |
