OK, this is really starting to irritate me!! WHY!? Again one of my promising characters was stopped by a river. I don't have cold spells/wands and I don't wanna spoil my items nor drown... Tell me, fellow adventurers, how do you deal with rivers if you don't have an easy way to cross it?? I hereby announce that I am more than willing to kill anyone who dares to cross my way |

I leave it cross it. Waterproof blanket is something i always find before i find a River (SMC). And Swimming is something u must have at least at 60. A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. I think I just figured something out: My dwarven fighter just came across with a roomtext which told about comfortable chairs (blaa blaa something) and the image faded away. immediatly after the text my PC became burdened and got -1st. Is it possible that rooms with this "chairmessage" abuse strenght? Has anyone noticed the same?
