I tried the use function, and I only have it for a second or what? What about potions? how can you poison someone? I tried "giving" the potion to some one, they wouldn't take it. I tried "using" it - didn't work. Can I only drink it for it to work? So poison is good for what? Sorry if these are stupid questions, I'm just trying to learn how to get the most out of the game. thanks, ana |

Assuming that you're asking how to wield a different weapon: go into the inventory screen. Press "f" to unwield your current weapon (won't work if it's cursed). Now press "f" again, and you'll get a choice of items to wield. To narrow it down to just weapons, you can press "(". You can poison a weapon by dipping it in a potion of poison. You can also throw potions of poison (equip them in the missile slot first). |
