Well, I finally had a character lucky enough to find a Wand of Wishing (after playing for about a year), but as (my) luck would have it, I tried using it without realizing I had the "Mana Battery" corruption, and *poof* there went the 2 charges! Curses on the heads of all Corruptions! P.S. Anyone else notice how when you get hit by a stone block or acid trap, the randomizer ALWAYS seems to pick your best stuff to destroy? I hate that... |

That sucks, but all is not lost... Spoiler If you repeatedly try to zap the empty wand you'll eventualy manage to wrench out a last charge, this destroy the wand in the process but since wand's of wishing can't be recharged anyway that's not a problem in this case. Jan Erik Mydland HoF admin |
