OK, i know all the stuff about DV and PV, but could someone explain this to me...does the computer roll some sort of dice (say DV of 10 means roll of 11 or higher is hit???) if so what is the standard dice used(20 sided??? i would like to be able to have some sort of idea as to what my char % to hit is)...really appreciate any helpful insite |

PC has some bonus to hit target (from his weapon skill, dexterity et cetera), bonus to damage to. Chance to hit = atacker bonus to hit - DV target +/- other modificators "Insect, we care not for thee. Disturb us any we will extingwish thy weak candle of life" |

well no offence but i know that there are bonuses, like fighting berserk w/avg PC could have +10 chance to hit...what im trying to say is + what...what is the base dice roll or whatever that these PC bonuses are added to...and your explanation doesnt make sense...what about when you are fighting in defensive mode etc and have a NEGATIVE bonus to hit THEN have to subtract the opponents DV...then you wouldnt have ANY % to hit... Check your bonuses in game W you can see all bonuses to hit and damage to all tactics "Insect, we care not for thee. Disturb us any we will extingwish thy weak candle of life" |

Literacy, you mean? Either 1. Complete the Dwarven Elder's first quest 2. Eat a dark sage corpse 3. Be born with it--a Learning skill of 10 or above (if you are not a barbarian or beastfighter), or being part of the right race or class, will give you Literacy. Die Gedanken sind Frei |
