Is it usual to have a low charisma score? I started a barbarian about 3 hours ago and he has 1 point of charisma. I wished for charisma and was able to get him out of the celler somewhat but is that normal? He'll be posted as soon as I'm done with him. BTW check out my fighter. My best score yet. |

Well, I'd guess it's normal for barbarians to have low charisma - after all you imagine them as being rather rough and crude and violent and not very attractive or charming. Also, what race was your barbarian? Trolls have pretty low charisma, which wouldn't have helped. However, charisma isn't terribly important, certainly not important enough to wish for. All it affects is shop prices and companions' reactions to you. |

Human Barbarians have a really large Le bonus (most of my H Barbs have Le 15+ and once i got le=24 on the start), quite good St, To & Dx, but low DV/PV (like 14/2 with the thick furs). All barbs have very low Ch&Ma and low Ap&Wi. A WISH for Ch?! Not 4 eterinium 2H-swords? :PPP A pessimist sees a dark tunnel. An optimist sees a light at the end of that tunnel. A realist sees a train. And the train driver sees three idiots on the tracks. |

LOL Guinea. Good stuff. Yes. I wished for charisma. I needed money. Since bug 291 came up (too many items on one square,) I've gotta start over. My next character on my page WILL be a barbarian. I will have a dump for ALL classes. Ryan's will rule my page. After that, I'll use differant names and races. |

BTW, I go for learning with the questions. I enjoy getting 5 and 6 skill points when I level up. I guess SOMETHING had to be exchanged. |
