What is everybody's opinion on emulation? I like it because I can get those Nintendo and Super Nintendo games of yore (and I can see the Gameboy screen since it's on my moniter.)

If you are interested in emulation, I'm a reviewer for http://www.emureactor.com They have everything needed for newbies as well as hard to find ROMs (I work for 'em. I've gotta plug 'em. Don't worry, This is my only plug EVER.)

I have 90% of all the nintendo games ever made on my computer. NES that is. I have like 3 or 4 SNES.

I have about 40 SNES games, 50 NES games, 10 Gameboy games, 4 Gameboy Advance games, 10 Genesis games, 6 Neo Geo games, and 5 Capcom arcade games.

I'm trying to find an Atari (800/2600/5200/7800) emulator so I can get some REALLY old games. A good Atari emulator with a link to a decent ROM site would be greatly appreciated.

I've got an atari emulator! Got it from a friend though, but if you tell me your e-mail, I can send it to you.

it's rkade@sacbeemail.com

What type of atari games does it play (800/2600/5200/7800?)

I'm at my friend's house until Sunday

Emulation is cool... Does anyone know of any good DOS emulators for Windows XP by the way.

I have used NTFS on my drives so an old fashoned boot disk won't help (can't read the HD from DOS), and I don't feel like re-partitioning my drive to fit in a DOS/Windows98 partition at this point either(maybe once I get the new one installed)).

Master of Magic just won't run under XP and compatability mode don't help squat...

I sent it. I'm afraid it's a bit older - atari 65XE/XL - it was my first computer ever.

How do you use the bloody thing?

Did you (or can you) include any ROMs with the emulator?

It says that there's a ROM error or something.

I'm only a reviewer. The reason I'm not higher on the list is because I don't know enough about emulators yet.

1.Run Atari800WIn file.
2.Click Atari - ROM Images button.
3.Click Search button.
4.Choose the Rom folder.
5.Click OK.
6.Click File - Load executable.
7.Choose Robbo.xex file that was in the zip and enjoy the game ;).

Hope that helps.

how do you actually start the game? I've got it playing it's music and stuff but I can't find the start button (or select button for that matter)

Do you know of a good site to get roms for this thing?

Do you know how to configure it for use as an Atari 800?

Ihanks

I've been playing around with a couple of Commodore 64 Emulators recently, and I have found them to be a lot of fun. I can play some of my old time favorites, without having to lug out my C128 (I still have two of them, always looking for a working C64, by the way), and they load *ALOT* faster than the original. The only downside is you can't save a game on them, but them's the breaks!
Anybody know of any decent Tandy emulators? I really want to play "Dungeons of Dagorath" again...
