Hi. I dont play rpg's(pen and paper) but i would want to, but my friends dont want or know how and neither my big brother(sniff) All people should play roguelikes! Adom gives me the taste what pen and paper rpg's could be! is macig the gathering a rpg? what is the meaning of life? duh, when will be new version of adom released? Damn, too many questions, How many people had even heard of rogue likes? sniff, all time i wander on net looking for roguelikes 4/5 of the pages are dead!comments people! There are a few finns on the forums too (nii että tere vaa). Hmm, magic the gathering p&p? well, I only know the card game MtG and some computer games, never heard of a p&p MtG. But the card game is total fun, you should try it (although the cards are expensive, very expensive if you want to build a real killer deck). |

You'll find lots of people interested in roguelikes at newsgroups: rec.games.roguelike.<something> newsgroups. There's also a newsgroup for adom called rec.games.roguelike.adom, it's quite active and gets many posts a day. If you don't have any sort of newsreaders you can read newsgroups from Google. Whoa so many Finish people I thought only Maelstorm was from Finland now I know theres Warlord, @, Tanthalas Pathfinder, J and Maelstorm. I think Anarchy2's from Malaysia. I think I'm the only Aussie here. As for RPG's I like them but not rouguelike's because I'm used to games where you can reload you game when you die because Final Fantsay VII was the first RPG I ever played. So am I. Interesting that both the unreal and the real one are from there. Oh, and while it is not possible to get beyond level 50 it is still possible to get those skill advancements even beyond level 50. I live if Finlnd but i'm no finnish. I have on DH2 a vault with many monsters and I think there was an artifact generated there. I already killed 1 moloch with my lv 21 drakish priest but I ca'nt kill a diamond golem wich I think has the artifact. Can someone give me some tips on how to kill it? For the Horde! |

Diamond golems are tough. They are immune to all elements (acid, fire, cold, lightning). However, high level magic missile will destroy them easily. My late wannabe-archmage had a nasty surprise in the air temple when the master summoner summoned a bunch of diamond golems. No joy with acid ball (which normally is very effective) but just couple of MMs made short work of them. Never underestimate the power of magic missile. At level 100+ it is absolutely devastating and even at level 40 something does nice damage. Sytytä toiselle tuli ja hän pysyy lämpimänä jonkin aikaa. @ there is no best starsign or as you call it month for bards but however Drakelings are a good race to have as a bard because they have the music skill and so do bards so they usually start with a music lv of 70+ so you can tame animals(dogs, cats, bears, bats, rats, turtles, sharks, frogs I think that's it) easily and have them as your companions.
