do ya know that there is a certain restriction on the bug temple? You must have at least 50 (?) experience points. HOW DO YOU GO THROUGH THE BUG TEMPLE!?!? I GET KILLED SO DAMN FAST! P.S. What is the reward for all of that trouble? |

With Bolt spells, Dakrness, invisibility, wands, ... and there's no "random" stuff... Always: 12(?) SoMM 6 SoCC WoFB 100 charges WoDC 100 charges WoT 25 charges 12(?) winged quarrels of slaying Holy two-handed sword of devastation Holy (?)heavy club of devastation (?) 12 gems of health Vigilant adamantium plate mail of travelling eh... was there something else? But does the base item differ? I'm quite sure that my two-handed sword from the bug temple was adamantite weighing in at 70 stones in one game /w a trollish barb. Still I preferred my crowning gift, the vanquisher. Slaying is NICE! |

well, not *exactly* same: once I got padded ECM [+0, +4], and once [+1, +7]... maybe the metal the swords are made from is also random... Vermin control, now that's a really great idea, thanks leapfrog. just dx 99 isn't enuff for me, I want at least st dx and to to be 99, I have foodpres. at 100 but still there aren't enuff corpses. I don't want to use meleeweapons of hunting either, DV is too low so I'd be mangled in notime. gonna go try to find a potion of unholy water now. Halaa puuta |

or you could also try to find a cursed scroll of uncursing and curse a potion of water with it and then curse a scroll of uncursing with the potion of unholy water... that would be the best way in my opinion. i've never had a problem watching the bugs multiply. i did it easily w/o food preservation. all you gotta do is clear all the rooms but the big one and just attack 6 or 7 at a time, eat the corpses then stand in sight of them and keep pressing ws. worked great for me i had all stats boosted, but only do it at a late level unless you can wish for emperor molochs or something. |
